Geilsk Sommer contains 40% Cotton, 40% Ramie and 20% Hemp. The Cotton makes the yarn soft to knit and after washing the yarn is even softer. Ramie and Hemp makes the yarn rustique, but it does not itch at all. You can compare this yarn with a Cotton/Linen quality... but softer.

Ramie is a stalk of the Nettle family and Hemp is a stalk of the Hemp familiy. It is the fibers from both types of plants which are used in this beautiful yarn.
